As a large, multinational online training and certification provider, Educate 360 presented a particularly challenging data integration case.

Using a combination of internal systems, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Educate 360 needed a comprehensive solution for smooth data flow.

Who is Educate 360?

Educate 360 is an umbrella company in the professional training sector. Its brands share one mission: helping professional individuals and organisations gain the skills they need to thrive in a technology-led and innovation-driven economy.

The five brands under Educate 360's umbrella:

  • New Horizons: An established IT certification provider specialising in technical, application, and professional development in cloud computing, information security, and government-sponsored training programs.
  • Project Management Academy (PMA): Prepares project managers at Fortune 100 companies for business growth, offering PMI® certification exam preparation and project management skills training like Agile.
  • Six Sigma Online: Offers specialised training in self-paced Six Sigma Certification, a set of management techniques for reducing errors and improving business processes.
  • Velopi: An Ireland-based enterprise project management training provider supporting superior project execution at multinational enterprises and government agencies throughout Europe.
  • Watermark Learning: A leader in Business Analysis and Leadership certification preparation focused on training, consulting, and coaching.

When Educate 360 acquired Project Management Academy and Watermark Learning, the umbrella company had its own homegrown system for centralised customer management and business management.

When Watermark Learning joined the company portfolio, most of its processes were running manually, and Educate 360 wanted to integrate it into its own homegrown system to follow industry standards.

Educate 360's Data Management Challenges

Later, Educate 360 implemented Salesforce, converting the homegrown system into Salesforce for most of the business. Its Accounting Department was using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Combining Salesforce and Educate 360's central system meant building a range of custom APIs, which made it extremely challenging to integrate with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Besides the integrations mentioned above, Rapidi's solution also streamlines Educate 360's event management and logistics, corresponding venue and location data in Salesforce with the relevant fields in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

In terms of their extensive product offering, Rapidi's integration platform syncs product details (or event codes) in Salesforce with dimension values in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. In turn, order tracking numbers are sent from Business Central to Salesforce, providing tracking capabilities for shipments and deliveries.
