MyRapidi configuration application first full release

We are very happy to announce that the first full release of our new configuration application is now generally available.

We have worked hard for a long time to get all the functionality ready for you.

In general the whole application have been rewritten from scratch using the latest technology and systems available. This means that the whole base with security etc. is now up on the latest version and this is helping us a lot in the future as it will be much easier to maintain.

The changes numerous and it is hard to go through it all, so I will limit myself to the biggest areas:

  • Totally new design of the application using much more AJAX partial update to pages to make the application generally more responsive.
  • Better handling of different screen formats. The first version is optimized for PC's, Laptops and also tablets. For later versions we aim at mobile devices also.
  • Redesign of the user handling, signup process, change password and create new user for administrators.
  • Configuration of DataSources have been renamed Connections and have been generally redesigned to give you a better overview with one list showing all connections.
  • Redesign of the Transfer list to make it easier to navigate between different part of the information.
  • Rewrite of all the Log and Statistics windows to perform better and a new Runs list to give you an overview of what RapidiOnline is currently doing.
  • and much much more.
